Payment of this invoice is legally binding proof that you have read and accepted all of our terms and conditions, listed below. 


ORDER TERMS

COLORS & TEXTURES:

  • VARIATIONS IN COLOR AND TEXTURE ARE INHERENT IN OUR DESIGNS AND ARE TO BE EXPECTED. 

    • We hand-mix our paints from small batches of pigments, mediums and special additives, and it is a fact that colors vary slightly from time to time, from batch to batch

      • FOR THE MOST EXACT MATCH TO THE SAMPLE YOU HAVE ON-HAND, SEND A CLIPPING TO:

        This is not necessary, but an option we are happy to accommodate if desired.

    • They are a result of the handmade process & add to SARKOS' unique artistic quality

 

ORDER PROCESS & PAYMENT TERMS:  

  • Payment cleared in full is required for production start.

    • For orders in excess of 40 panels, fee schedules may be customized.

  • Pay by credit card online, mail a check for US orders, bank wire transfers..

    • For credit card order totals above $2000 - there will be a 2.9% processing fee added to the total order amount.

    • For mailed checks: make payable to: SARKOS and mail to:

      AND inform us when to expect your check (sometimes we don't check our mailbox for many many days..)

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

  • We accept bank wire transfers to expedite international orders.

  • VIP: Any and all customs taxes, duties or tarrifs are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
    We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes, duties or tariffs. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We also do not know the time, if any, that the parcel might be held by customs in the destination country.

 

EXPEDITED ORDERS:

  • RUSH ordering is available based on current production calendar. Please inquire with sarkosnyc@gmail.com. Rush fee depends on the rush schedule, typically a 35% increase on suggested retail price is added for normal lead time to be cut in half.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Cancellation of orders are allowable within 24 hours of payment received by SARKOS. This timing is strictly enforced. 
    Rush orders may not be cancelled once payment is received by SARKOS.As we do everything by hand we expect this to occur on rare occasion and will very happily recover the panel.

 

RETURNS:

  • SARKOS does not accept any returns, as we make everything by hand. If you feel something is damaged or defective, see delivery notes below.

 

SHIPPING:

  • Carrier is always chosen by SARKOS; generally we us FedEx and UPS. Your shipping cost will be included on your customized invoice. For any address change after order is placed, additional fees must be paid in full prior to shipment going out.

 

UPON DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER: 

  • Damaged packaging:

    • If packaging is damaged to the point of causing damage to the purchased goods, do not accept the delivery. Take pictures if you can! Immediately make a claim with the carrier and contact us.

    • If package is not damaged, but the goods are - take photographs of everything, keep the goods in the packaging for our inspection, email us the photographs. We will respond with a phone call as soon as we can. If these measures are not taken we can not guarantee replacement of damaged goods.

  • Inspect all panels in your order. SARKOS can not take responsibility for any quality issues raised after the first 3 panels are cut, pasted or installed AND/OR within 10 business days of delivery receipt.

    • If you believe your product to be defective, and it has not yet been cut, pasted or installed, contact us within 10 days of delivery so we may review your order and claim.

      • We scrupulously check each panel at each stage of an order, but.. as we are humans and do everything by hand, we expect this to occur on rare occasion - and will very happily recover the panel, as determined by our discretion. 

  • If the material is to be stored, after inspection- keep stored in the shipping box and in a temperature controlled, dry area out of danger of being crushed.

 

CARE & CLEANING:

  • SARKOS wallpapers are more durable than one expects. Most designs have good water resistance and can be lightly scrubbed with a warm damp cloth - in order to spot clean. Specific instructions sent with each order should be adhered to. Failure to do so will void the limited warranty.

 

WARRANTY:

  • SARKOS warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship under normal use, when properly installed by a professional wallpaper hanger, for a period of 6 months. This limited warranty is strictly for issues that may arise after a period of being installed, and would only be the result of a reaction between SARKOS paint and SARKOS wallpaper. SARKOS goods are not guaranteed against fading or shrinkage through cleaning, steaming, and sun exposure or effects of wear. SARKOS reserves the right to inspect any product being claimed to be damaged or defective before having any obligation to replace any part of an order. Shipping costs for inspection are the responsibility of the claimant. The claimant must provide photographs. SARKOS is not responsible for damages caused by improper or poor installation, maintenance or cleaning. This limited warranty extends only to products in the possession of the original purchaser, or the original client, should the purchaser have been a trade professional under contract with said client. SARKOS's liability shall not exceed the contract price and shall in no event be made for labor charges or any other consequential damages.
